So i bought this gen 3 NVME SSD and it wont work on my laptop. is there a way i can figure it out? im fairly advanced in technology and i dont see any thing showing up for my laptops NVME slot, Nor the SSD. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Hi:
Yes, you would have thought it would have worked based on the info in the service manual.
However, we found out from other forum members that have the same model series with the eMMC drives, that only SATA M.2 SSD's are supported, not NVMe.
So, if you exchange the NVMe SSD for a SATA one such as the Western Digital Blue SA510 SATA SSD, that one will work fine.

No, you use the same type M.2 but SATA.
