Oh, boy.
You will probably have to use a 3rd party disk formatting utility and format the drive MBR-NTFS.
There used to be some free software out there that you could use to convert a GPT partition to a MBR partition.

Just wanted to give you a quick update. I was able to successfully install Windows 7. I actually am dual booting between windows 10 and windows 7 after doing quite a bit of research. I am so happy I got this to work out! It didn't allow me to install the Intel graphics driver for some reason, but I am not noticing any display issues. I am going to go back to the link you gave me and see if I missed something or maybe since I am dual booting, I might not need to install the graphics drivers on the windows 7 side. Either way, I am 100% pleased because both operating systems are completely functional. Paul, I thank you so much for your help and patience!

That is great news.
You really need to install the Intel graphics driver if you see a Standard VGA Adapter listed under the display adapters device manager category. You should be seeing an Intel HD graphics adapter, and a Nvidia graphics adapter.
Otherwise, you cannot adjust the screen resolution, no Windows Aero, and graphics acceleration will be disabled.
If the HP Intel driver didn't work, use the one directly from Intel. Install and restart the PC.

I installed the nvidia graphics driver with no problem. When I tried to install the intel driver, it said my system didn't meet the minimum requirements, but I was able to adjust the resolution on the windows 7 side with no issue. I actually have had 0 issues since installing so I'm not too concerned right now. Everything appears to be working correctly. Is there a way I can confirm that an Intel HD graphics driver is installed?

If everything is working correctly, then I guess I would leave it be too.
Under the display adapters device manager category, if the graphics drivers are properly installed, you should see two graphics adapters listed:
Intel HD
Nvidia
