Product: HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Earlier today, I had a new battery installed. In addition to charging it, what, if anything, should I do to the new battery (run tests on it, calibrate it, and so on)? It seems to be charging well.

You're talking about the older NiCad batteries -- a discharging them to dead and recharging was helpful.
This is not the case with the newer Lithium-Ion batteries -- which are much the same technology as the batteries in modern smart phones.
