Sorry, but no one is going to try to troubleshoot your work from afar.

You may have not completely connected the battery or possibly inadvertently disconnected something.

The battery may be faulty or DOA.

I am sorry but I do not understand your statement "Sorry, but no one is going to try to troubleshoot your work from afar."

I thought this forum was to ask for help. Did I misunderstand the purpose of this community? I am completely stuck and do not know how to progress. I do not have the funds to purchase a new laptop so I thought I would attempt to replace the battery. I entered what I had done and was hoping perhaps someone could look at it and see something I did not do. If this is not the correct location to ask for help and you know of a better place please share that forum or location. By no means did I internally want to waste anyone's time.

Thank you to anyone that is willing to share their knowledge or point me in the right direction.

OK. So you understand that would take someone to open your laptop and inspect what you had done.

No one can troubleshoot  through  the internet or through a remote connection,  physical work that you have done that may be the cause of the issue.

You will need to take the laptop to a shop.
