I have had success with third party batteries. Just make sure that they have the HP Part Number.
The document provides information on how to verify that a battery is genuine.
If the battery is a fake and you bought it from an Amazon supplier, you will get your money back.

Order an original genuine HP battery to replace it. Either replace it yourself or have it done at a laptop shop.

The battery description and HP part number
Battery (3-cell, 41-WHr, 3.6-AHr, Li-ion) 920070-855
Best results are with an original (OEM) HP battery.
Beware of fake or knockoff batteries. They may not work as expected.
