Hello,
I have just received my new HP Envy x360 14" 2-in-1 laptop. Overall, everything seems to be working well, and the hinges feel sturdy during normal use. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that the left hinge appears slightly less straight or aligned compared to the right one.
I have heard of some hinge-related issues in this model series and started to worry if this small irregularity might affect the durability over time.
Is this kind of minor misalignment expected from the manufacturing process, or could it be a potential defect that should be repaired?
I would prefer to deal with it right away—before I fully start using the device—in case it turns into a problem later.
Thank you in advance for your help!
I include 2 images of the bad hinge and one of the normal one.

So you cannot confirm whether the difference in the hinges is considered acceptable?
Based on the images, it is clear that one of the hinges is slightly different from the other. Because of this minor variation, I simply want to understand whether it requires repair or return, or if it is an acceptable difference that does not pose any risk of future issues.
If this is within the allowed production tolerance and will not cause extra wear or damage over time, I am perfectly fine with it. My only concern is whether this might lead to problems later on.
