Hi:
You can't use a CNVI wifi card like the AX 201 or 211 in your notebook.
Only the 250 G8 models that came with the AX201 wifi adapter would support a CNVI card.
The ones that came with the Realtek wifi adapters have to use a standard M.2 wifi card.
What I suggest you do if you want to upgrade the wifi card would be to see if this model works.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro L35282-005
You can find this model wifi card on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
