Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a new HP certified battery (L11119-855)  through HP and it does not charge. I bought it pro-actively, due to battery failure warnings.

When I uninstalled, and re-installed the original battery,the battery failure warnings cleared.

The original battery finally failed so I recently  installed the "new" battery.

I notice the from the part label that battery was manufactured 1.5 years before I purchased it. 

Any suggestions r.e.charging the battery would be appreciated.

try charging for two hours with the laptop turned off, if the problem continues, you should probably make use of the warranty.
