HP Notebook - 14-cf1599sa

Hi, my laptop charger has broken and every time I buy one online, same power, the computer lags. I do not know where to find an authentic HP charger for this laptop. Can someone direct me to the best place?

@Isha97,

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!

Your HP Notebook - 14-Cf1599sa (5AT11EA) requires this charger, with p/n: 741727-001 "Smart AC power adapter (45 watt) - 4.5mm barrel connector, non-power factor correcting (NPFC) - Requires 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector".

You can purchase an OEM HP model via eBay-UK: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=HP+741727-001&_sacat=0&_sop=15&rt=nc&LH_BIN=1, or via Amazon-UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=HP+Notebook+-+14-Cf1599sa+charger&crid=26TTT9I3LTE60&sprefix=hp+noteboo....

Hope this was helpful.

Hi,

thanks. I have bought 2 off amazon using these specs but each time they make my computer super laggy. I was wondering if there is one which is guaranteed to work?

Best wishes,

Isha

@Isha97,

All right, then, perchance a 90-watt charger should fix that: 90W HP Laptop Charger, 19.5V Power Supply for HP Stream 11 13 14 HP Pavilion x360 11 13 15 HP Chrome....

If this doesn't fix the laggyness, there may be another issue going on.  That would require more indepth troubleshooting.

Kind Regards,
