HP Notebook - 15-r104nv (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, i will be quick here.

My girlfriend has the HP Pavilion 15-r104nv and her battery was starting to die out and couldn't hold charge on it's own and wanted it's own charger to work. Long story short the original battery for this laptop does not exist anymore and i bought her a compatible one for that laptop with of course lower capacity as it's a compatible (Original 41WHr and 2800mAh and compatible 32WHr and 2200mAh).

The battery she had was a fake one but 38WHr and 2600mAh but that was the battery as i said that it doesn't hold anymore.

Anyways, the new compatible battery just doesn't go 1% charge. I've been charging it for literally 30 mins and still 0% and doing the HP diagnostics of course says replace the battery as it wants the new one and it shows 0.00WHr 0% and i wanted some help on what to do.

I have the original charger of the laptop that is 45w but maybe i thought it was the charger acting up, then i tried my own HP charger that's 65w and still nothing and i don't know if the new battery is faulty, any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Maybe the battery i bought is too low in terms of specs and it can't handle the power the laptop needs?
