Hello, I got a new laptop (4gb×1 ram, 8gb×1 ram)(256gb ssd) recently and when I start to set it up, the computer froze when booting , later on I open a chrome tab, it froze and booted again. I decided to open the laptop to check hardware problems and saw the 4GB memory stick upside down misplaced, I removed the memory stick and booted the computer again and it was able to boot up perfectly without any problems. My question is: Would I be able to get a replacement memory stick that would fit fine, if yes how may I ask?.

This is a new one on me -- as every time I have messed with memory sticks in laptops, the slots were "keyed" so the sticks could NOT be inserted the wrong way. And since the connecting leads are only on one side of the stick, it's not possible to insert the wrong side, as you state, upside down!
As to replacing the memory stick under the warranty, a complication is that you opened the laptop and HP might consider that voiding the warranty and would thus, refuse to replace the memory stick.
That said, I am only providing a personal opinion -- so, for an official answer regarding this, you will need to contact HP Customer Support.
