New laptop question

Hi,

I have just taken delivery of my new Laptop which is a HP 17-cn3007na 17in Intel Core i3 8GB 512GB, I have not opened the box yet as it says 4GB on the box?? No where on the labels does it say 8GB, have I been sent the wrong one? It was ordered with Argos here in the UK, the product number is the same. Have tried contacting Argos but haven't got through yet.  I will point out that I have some disability's and only have basic knowledge of some of the technical jargon which is commonly used.  Many thanks.

Hi:

According to the parts list for the notebook you purchased, it came with 1 x 8 GB of memory.

Thank you for the quick reply, the 4GB on the labels confused me (it doesn't take much).

You're very welcome.

I don't know of any PCs nowadays that only come with 4 GB of memory.
