Hey all, I have a new hp omen laptop. It came with a m.2 with optane memory. I disabled the optane memory and cloned a new samsung m.2 I can see the new m.2 in diskpart and disk management but I don't see it in bios. The bios has no options for selecting uefi or anything similar. Any help would be appreciated.

@S2daM

Its specs

        https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06656951

It has 2 M.2 SSD drives and probably uses RAID 0 configuration

  • 512 GB Intel® SSD
  • 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

How do you clone it ?  Did you also check RAID 0 configuration and disable it properly ?

Regards.

The first m.2 slot is a combo of storage and optane memory. As for the second m.2 slot that's where I put my samsung.  As for disabling it I went into intel optane storage program via windows and clicked disable.
