This Manual although it says it is for the 16-e0000 model series, is also said to be for your model:

Manual

Instructions begin on p. 33. There are two (2) M.2 NVME PCIe Gen 3.0 slots and opening the computer to upgrade storage or memory is permitted to the end user.

You need a 2280 form factor NVME M.2 SSD. A Gen 4.0 device will work but run at the slower Gen 3.0 speed.

The 16-s0000 model series only has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.

The info in the service manual is incorrect where it shows two SSD slot positions in the illustration in chapter 5.

The service teardown video shows only one slot:

If you need more storage, you will have to remove the existing drive and install one having a greater storage capacity.
