Hello!
I recently upgraded the RAM on my Envy x360 from 2x4GB to Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 SODIMM 2666MHz CL18.
All good in general, but one thing that continues to bug me is that the SPD modules are not detected by the system.
In Speccy it is shown as below:
In CPU-Z it is shown as below (Slot 1 & 2 shows the same)
I also did a full MemTest86 test without any errors, and could see this in the logs:

Anyone have an idea why this is occurring? I know i made a mistake in purchasing the 2666mhz version, but that shouldn't cause this i believe (it was a misclick when ordering and i didn't thought of it until it was too late). My wild guess is that my laptop just don't like the new RAM sticks.. (HP blocking or similar)
Thankful for any ideas!

As we have stated in earlier posts. It will support only DDR4-2400, 1.2V system memory only.
According to the motherboard, it will only calculate the 2400 1.2V system memory only.
Please see the below screenshot.
