Probook 450 g2

I changed my boot option settings from Legacy to UEFI without CSM in bios. Now when I start the laptop it shows a screen with the message “no bootable image found, notebook will shutdown soon. I have tried to go to bios by pressing f10 but it is not going to bios. Have tried to remove the CMOS to no avail. I also have tried to restore my bios by using a flash drive and the key combination nothing works. Please help me

Hi:

As you just found out, you can't just change from Legacy to UEFI without reinstalling Windows in UEFI mode..

The only suggestion I can offer is this...

Turn on or restart the PC.

Press/tap the ESC key right after you turn on the PC and you should get a menu of options.

Press the F10 Setup option and change the setting back to Legacy, save the setting, restart the PC and Windows should work again.

If you want to have Windows run in UEFI mode with secure boot enabled, you will need to reinstall W10 from one of the EFI boot sources listed in the F9 boot options menu.
