Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello;

On my EliteBook 850 G4 I am getting no power to the battery and it is not charging. I have done the following: 

 

1. Replaced the battery, when i replaced the battery the system booted up and was operating normally until the battery ran out.

2. Verified the power supply was providing 20V DC.

 

When I plug in the power supply the battery LED (3rd one from the left) on the front blinks rapidly 8 times and then nothing. 

 

Any suggestions? Thanks a lot

HP Recommended

I took off the cover and reseated the mother board and area around the power connection and now it is working. We'll see if it lasts...
