No puedo aumentar ram

Hi, I have an HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G2 laptop with an i7 5500u and 4gb of Ram soldered to the motherboard. It also has a free slot but when I try to connect a memory that in theory should be compatible, it only turns on the screen and says that the installed memory is not compatible.

I have bought several memory sticks and none of them work.

They all meet DDR3L specifications at 1.35V and latency 11 with 1600Mhz

I am very worried about this, please help.

I have tried 1Rx8 and 2Rx8 memory sticks

Hi:

Unfortunately, you can only install the memory chip part number listed in chapter 5 of the service manual for your notebook.

HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G2 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

No other memory will work for some reason.

Also, if you look at chapter 5, page 40 of the manual there are some notes:

NOTE: Memory configuration is selected when the computer is ordered and is not upgradeable.

Update BIOS before changing memory module

If you look at the illustration of the HP memory chip used in your notebook, it has no little black memory chips on the side of the memory module that faces the motherboard.
