Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The DVD player on my HP Pavilion 147-ar0xx laptop does not have a screw holding it in place on the bottom cover.  I'm trying to remove the cover to install a new battery.  I've removed all the other screws (2 under the rubber runners and 7 bottom cover screws) - and, I've loosened the cover all the way around except for the DVD area.  But, I can't loosen that section.

 

HELP!

See p. 25 of the Service Manual:

 

Manual 

 

The screw holding the optical drive in place is under a cover which you have to remove to access the screw.
