Microsoft Windows 11

i recently opened my laptop to clean the fans since it was heating too much when i noticed that my cpu was exposed directly. is it normal or is there any problem with it. i have cleaned my laptop fans and vents and there is a cool environment in my room but the temperature is still reaching 86 degree on my gpu and 97 degree on my cpu very easily. Is the no thermal paste on the cpu causing this heating issues?

Your 16-U0000 should have two fans and two heatsinks.  One over the GPU and the other over the CPU

The CPU should never be exposed.

Go to the below site and enter your serial number
https://partsurfer.hp.com

Look for the part you need such as fan, heatsink

If the part is listed it should be in your laptop.
