Zbook 14u
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I could not find any HP battery for my Zbook and was FORCED to purchase a replacement battery.

Now I'm stuck with the error message @ boot "Non-HP battery detected - 605"

Could not find any solution on the web.

As the IT manager and decision maker in our company (currently all HP hardware), I will have no choice but to move to DELL if you cannot fix the bios in order to switch off this irritating message. It's anyway cheaper.

Please advise.

The only solution I have seen anyone report as successful is to drain the battery completely, then charge it back up and the error supposedly disappears. I do not work for HP, by the way and have no ability to rewrite BIOS. Dell has its own set of issues with third party batteries, by the way.
