HP Pavilion x360 Laptop- 14m-dw0023dx
Microsoft Windows 11

One day, my HP Pavillion x360 convertible laptop suddenly stopped working and won't turn on. I took it to a service centre who said that they were HP Authorized, but they were not. However, they did something and turned on my laptop, but said that the keyboard, touchpad and other input devices are not working, except for the touch screen. They also told that one of the chip in my laptop was not working, so they threw it away. I took my laptop and they told to use external keyboard and mouse.

Later i took it to another HP Service centre, who when tested the laptop, told that one of the required chip responsible to connect those input devices to the motherboard, was missing, and it could not be fixed. So they too suggested me to use the external keyboard and mouse.

I had purchased this laptop in USA, and now i can not find any fix for it. It's quite inconvenient to keep using this external devices. Please help me to fix this

It appears the laptop is out of warranty and is defective.

Sorry, all you can do is use it as a tablet

Go to Start , then select Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, and turn on the toggle under Use the On-Screen Keyboard. A keyboard that can be used to move around the screen and enter text will appear on the screen.
