Hi there!
I have a query. I want to know that how can I increase the dedicated video memory (DVM) of my HP ProBook 6450b laptop. After surfing the internet for the same question I came across two possible solutions - 1. Increasing the DVM by editing registries and 2. By accessing the advanced tab in the BIOS setup. The first one didn't work because whatever the method told me to do was already done by default. The second method also didn't work because I could not find the advanced tab in my BIOS setup. Anyone please help me out. If I can't increase the DVM then please assist me with the virtual memory of my computer. What should be my virtual memory for lag free gaming like GTA 5. My laptop specs are as follows:
Windows edition:
Windows 10 pro
System:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M540 @2.53GHz
Installed Memory(RAM): 4.00GB (3.80 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system x64-based processor
Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics
Total graphics memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Video memory: 64 MB
Cores: 2
Logical processors: 4
DirectX version: 10
Please help me out with my problem. Either how to increase my DVM or what should be my maximum and minimum value of paging size for virtual memory. I really need support. Thanking you in advance.

You are talking abut VRAM for iGPU here. No you can't.
Integrated video (iGPU) does not have room for keep VRAM, it relies on System. System will work this out and allocate/assign spare/available system RAM to VRAM automatically when required up to max limit. System will also take VRAM back when required (the number is dynamic, not fix). During the good old days, we could do this from BIOS but now OS is smarter.
The following document shows Max shared RAM for Intel iGPU versions

Note: Recently people post Youtube on internet saying they can change using Regedit. Many people try but the results are unpredictable.
