Hi @Dr-SK,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having issues with your HP v220W 128GB pen drives, here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the problem.

Check the USB Port:

  • Try using a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes, the issue could be with the port rather than the pen drive.

Try Another Computer:

  • Connect the pen drives to another computer to see if they are recognized. This will help determine if the problem is with the pen drives or the original computer.

Check Device Manager:

  • On Windows, go to Device Manager and check under "Disk Drives" for your pen drive. If there are any yellow exclamation marks, there might be a driver issue.
  • Right-click and choose "Update driver" if necessary.

Format the Drive:

  • If the pen drives are detected but not working properly, consider formatting them. Right-click on the drive in "This PC" or "My Computer," and select "Format." Choose the file system type, usually FAT32 or exFAT for compatibility.

Disk Management:

  • Open Disk Management (right-click on This PC > Manage > Disk Management) to see if the drives are listed. From here, you can assign a drive letter or initialize the disk if needed.

Check for Physical Damage:

  • Inspect the pen drives for any physical damage. If the drives appear physically damaged, they might need to be replaced.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
