Notebook 15-ay009dx

I am looking for a replacement charge port for my HP Notebook model 15-ay009dx,  I have not been able to find on HP website. The computer is three years old but my extended warranty from Best Buy expired 1/18. They told me to just by a new computer, as they would charge too much to fix. I would like to just repair it.  Can anyone provide me the right part number? Thanks...

@Matty_elk Welcome to HP Forums Community!

If you haven't looked in the HP Service and maintenance guide yet, please do (under Page. 84 Chapter 6 Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts) as it contains the information you need and more, here's the part number you were looking for, from the same link: 813945-011

You may order the part on HP Parts Store, if not available, you can simply google the part number and order it via any local online store such as eBay, etc...as the part number is universal.

I hope that answers your query,

Thank you! I was able to order from EBay for $7.00. I am disappointed that Best Buy told me that this part is attached to the mother board so fixing it is too expensive of an option, and that the best solution is to buy another laptop. I have already found an independent who will replace the part for a very reasonable fee. Thanks for your help.
