Pavilion x360 Convertible Notebook

My Pavilion Notebook, which flips all the way back into a tablet, has completely popped it's hinge on one side. I have seen on Google search that people are having issues with hinges on various kinds of HP laptops/notebooks. You would think that if any hinge would be long lasting, it would certainly be the one that boasts a 360  flip, but it sure didn't last long. My computer is only two years old, so the warranty is expired. I contacted customer support to no avail, as HP doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for their design flaws.  I am so disappointed with this product, that I don't want to purchase another HP computer that has a flip top. Is anyone else having problems with the hinges on their HP laptops/notebooks?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Apologies for all the inconvenience

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the hinge assembly and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
