HP Envy 15t

I was told the TDP for this GPU is 115 W by HP sales.  If someone can verify that would be great.  I suspect it is 60W.  This is the Nvidia RTX 3060 LT MAX-Q - HP ENVY Laptop - 15t-ep100.  thanks

Currently graphic card makers don't require OEM's to list the TDP of the discreet cards in their laptops.  I just read an article somewhere about it. The 3060 can be run at a variety of speeds and TDP. An OEM can turn it down and still say hey it's an RTX 3060, while another maker can tune it up and get 20-30% more fps out of the same card.

A good indication is the size of the p0wer supply. Your model depending on configuration, has the following adapters-

19.5 V dc @ 2.31 A – 45 W
19.5 V dc @ 3.33 A – 65 W
19.5 V dc @ 4.62 A – 90 W
19.5 V dc @ 6.15 A – 120 W
19.5 V dc @ 6.9 A – 135 W
19.5 V dc @ 7.70 A – 150 W
19.5 V dc @ 10.3 A – 200 W
19.5 V dc @ 11.8 A – 230 W
19.5 V dc @ 16.92 A – 330W

If you have the 330W version, rest assured you have the fastest cpu and 3060 they made for that model.

Thanks for your reply.  I actually meant TGP, but I believe thats what you responded as well. I do not own this, I was considering this laptop, but now am not.  It has a 200W "smart" power supply, not sure what that means, but in any case from the service manual the GPU fan is for a 60 watt, so I guess it is the 60W, the least poweful 3060.  The transparency of most of, and all of the larger manufacturers, like HP, when they do have the specs, is misleading consumers and is ridiculous.

actually i have to correct, it COULD be the 80W version, although the service manual listed for this latop model envy 15t ep100 does not have the 11800h processor listed, for this laptop being sold on the website. if i looked correctly.
