  I have hp 15s-gr0011au, I installed nvme ssd m. 2 but it does not appear in the file explorer, disk manager, cmd diskpart, I think that i need to enable legacy option in the bios Or the achi, but i am unable to open the advanced bios settings, is there a way I can use my ssd

Nope.

 

Do not play with the BIOS for this issue.  If you do, you probably will regret it.

 

Use the Windows utility called DiskPart to see the SSD and configure it.

Once you have followed all of the tutorial instructions on the web document you can install a Windows OS on the SSD.

I checked the diskpart and the ssd is not showing there also, any solution

Did you follow the tutorial in the link I provided?

 

I do not understand what you mean by "I checked the diskpart"

 

Did you use the list volume and list disk commands as the tutorial described?

 

Check to insure that you have inserted the M.2 SSD fully and run the diskpart test again.


Read the article again and follow the tutorial steps one at a time.

What brand and part number  M.2 SSD did you use?

 

Kindly stop talking about the "solution". 

 

We are attempting to troubleshoot your M.2 issue and I am making suggestions for you to try, hopefully leading to a solution of the issue.

That is how the forum  has always worked. 

 

It is the only way since we am not aware of how much knowledge new members have about their laptop's  hardware. firmware and software.
