I have a confusion for upgrading my notebook 15 HP product.

Can i install m.2 nvme ssd in my system.??

For better performance purpose.

My HP notebook 15 system info is :- 

UID "2EY84PA/ACJ"

Serial No. Is "[Personal Information Removed]"

Hi,

First you need to check if the actual physical M2 slot is present on the motherboard as on some models that did not come with M2 SSD the slot is not present. On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover

If the slot is there you can install an M2 SATA3 SSD of your preferred brand and capacity. (not PCIe NVMe)

If the slot is not there you can replace the hard drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD.

It will give a boost to the everyday performance of the PC.

there's a m2x3 written on the m.2 slot area.

i want to know about does m.2 slot supports Nvme m.2 ssd.

my laptop info is 

HP Notebook 15-bs542tu

have already m.2 ssd slot. what can i do for installing ssd m.2 SATA or m.2 NVME ssd.

The notebook only supports M2 SATA3 SSDs
