HP Notebook - 15-da0009la

My HP Notebook - 15-da0009la  supports m.2 nvme pcie ssd but when I opened the back there is an m.2 sata slot instead, so is there any way I can install an m.2 nvme pcie ssd. Will it support the Lexar NM620 1TB SSD

Also could you specify if the m.2 slot has an M-key or a B-key.

Hi:

The 15-da0xxx models with the Intel Core processors have a M.2 slot that supports both NVMe and SATA SSD's.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

One M.2 socket 3, Key M, 2280, not that it matters, because a M.2 SATA SSD (which have two notches) will also fit in the same slot.

The Lexar drive model you posted should work, but the service manual shows that HP only offered NVMe SSD's up to 512 GB in storage capacity in the model series.
