Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15m-cn0011dx,Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I replaced the battery due to deformation. It was swollen to the point my computer would not close properly.  

 

Edit

Just noticed a CMOS error on startup.

The computer shuts off randomly.

Removed the battery and the PC no longer shuts off randomly. 

 

Steps taken.

  • Uninstalled battery driver in device manager, removed the battery, held power button yada yada
  • It still does not charge 
  • Updated bios
  • no change

Searched for days looking for more ideas. 

 

Any Ideas?

Did you run the advanced battery test in HP Support Assistant on it? If so, please post the full results from it.
