OMEN 15-dc1058wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I own an OMEN 15-dc1058wm laptop, with a 256gb Samsung SSD. I would like to add an M2 SSD.

I would like to ask if my laptop is compatible an M2 SSD. The ones I would like to add is either the Adata/Silicon Power or the Mushkin Pilot.

Hi:

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it already has a M.2 NVMe SSD installed in the M.2 slot.

You're very welcome.

You would want to get a NVMe drive like the one installed, but you should be able to go as high as 1 TB.

A WD Blue would be a good choice.  NVMe drives tend to run hot.  The faster read/write speeds it has, generally the hotter it will run.
