OMEN MAX 16 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-ah0000 (A4NM5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Good day, I am having a bit of an hard time to find the proper compatible memory to upgrade my Omen 16 Max.

As the official HP memor is too expensive I am looking at compatible momory that I can use.

I want to install 2x32Gb 5600 MT/s SoDimm.

So far i have tried with:

Kingston Fury: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0BRTJZL5H?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Corsair Vengenace: https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0D1G2KKY2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

The first won't even boot, the second is very unstable ... so I have returned them both.

Any suggestions on what to use?

My omen max has the core 9 ultra and the RTX 5090.

Thank you

Kindly

Giuseppe

@PeppeAccardo,

As they say: "Il diavolo si nasconde nei dettagli" (the devil is in the details), because of all the Omen 16 Max rigs I could find here, such as this HP OMEN MAX Gaming Laptop 16-ah0xxx User, is able to run 2x32GB of Kingston Fury DDR5 5600 MHz p/n: KF556S40-32 SODIMM 262-pin RAM modules very successfully: HP OMEN MAX Gaming Laptop 16-ah0xxx Performance Results - UserBenchmark.

But also, 2x32GB of Hynix HMCG88AGBSA092N and Hynix HMCG88AGBSA095N run well, as well as 2x32GB of Micron MTC16C2085S1SC56BD1.

Really appreciate your kind help and reccommendations.

I never used UserBenchmark to check parts compatibility, thank you for teachnig me something new.

Will run a couple of more tests.

I really like the laptop and with the extra ram makes me completelly indipendent from the big rig I have at home.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

Ciao
