- OMEN 17 BATTERY LIFE ISSUE WITH NVIDIA DRIVERS

Hello,
I have an OMEN by HP Laptop 17-ck0005nt gaming laptop.
(i7-11800h, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, bios version is up to date: F46 Rev.A - 14.11.2023)
After I installed Windows 11, with the drivers installed by Windows update, battery life is good, the system is fluent even on battery power, and everything is fine but one thing; the Nvidia driver installed by Windows update is very obsolete (512.78) and most of the current games don't work with it. They just don't start, with a pop-up that suggests I update my Nvidia drivers. (Drivers on the HP driver support page are the same.)
The problem starts here. When I install the latest WHQL Nvidia driver, games play just fine when plugged into AC. However; the battery life drops from up to 4 hours to just 1.5 hours and there is more heating and Windows is lagging while on battery. And believe me, for the last 9 months I installed every single new official Nvidia driver and there is no difference.
(Note: I don't game on battery and don't use my laptop on battery every day, but this issue bothers me when I do.)
I tried a clean Windows 11 installation (the problem exists for 22h2 and 23h2 still), calibrating the battery by draining it to 0 - waiting a couple of hours and charging, uninstalling ACPI Battery drivers and removing the battery, and plugging it in again, clearing the CMOS, resetting bios options, uninstalling GeForce experience - nothing works.
There is nothing to do but install the old, obsolete Nvidia driver to get proper battery life and performance on battery.
There is a newer driver version of the Nvidia driver in optional updates of Windows update (537.13), but unfortunately, it suffers from the same problem as well.
Having to sacrifice the battery life just to use the latest Nvidia drivers is very bad. What is the point of having an RTX 3070 if I won't be able to use it to its fullest? This is a ridiculous problem for such a powerful device.
Thank you very much for reading. Do you have any suggestions?
