You're very welcome.

I'm surprised by that report result.

It's indicating the notebook can only support 2 x 8 GB of memory for a total of 16 GB and we know the service manual indicates 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported.

I found this post on Reddit and one person responded: 'I have the same model and i just upgraded to 64gb, when you installed the ram, please wait for it to boot, it will take 5 minutes or so, so don't be alarmed, screen will be black during that time.'

Another person responded: 'It works fine, no issues, just notice the first time you put all new ram, leave it on for a few minutes it takes a little bit time.'

So, if 64 GB can work, so can 32 GB.

See the service manual for the memory upgrade and drive configurations:

Maintenance and Service Guide

The notebook has support for two M.2 NVMe SSDs.

The crucial memory/SSD report indicates the notebook can support up to 2 x 32 GB of memory and they sell NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB in storage capacity.

Here is a service teardown video for the model series:

If you want to see if your notebook can support more than 2 x 16 GB of memory, you can run this command in Windows Powershell as administrator:

Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_PhysicalMemoryArray | Select-Object MaxCapacityEx, MemoryDevices

Thank you Paul_Tikkanen

The powershell command output was:

MaxCapacityEx : 16777216

MemoryDevices : 2
