OMEN Laptop - 15-en0023dx USBC port Thunderbolt support

Does the USBC port on this laptop support Thunderbolt 3? The port has a thunderbolt symbol and the documentation says Displayport 1.4 support. So not really sure especially since this is a Ryzen 7 gaming laptop. Thanks for any info.

Edits - Add Section to use the HP Virtual Agent (HPVA) to search for compatible products

The visual difference between Thunderbolt symbol and the sleep and charge symbol is minor but significant.

Example -
