OMEN by HP - 15-dc0052nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am using my Omen laptop to play Diablo 3 on recommended settings. But within 15 to 20 minutes the laptop heats up a lot.

The tab where Omen is printed is so hot is difficult to touch it. The command center shows temperatures above 150 F.

And this is when I use a cooling fan.

Can someone suggest what more can be done to keep the temperatures low?

Omen machines are hot is a hot topic. I don't play games but with new BIOS (I installed sometimes last week) my Omen is quieter (fans) and less hot.

Please try to update BIOS first (I don't know why HPSA did not do this automatically).

Regards.

I did update mi BIOS to no advantage. Still the machine heats up a lot. Approximately 45 mins into gaming, you can actually start to feel the heat on the keyboard keys as well.
