Hello, so I've had my HP omen for about 9 months now and its been the awfully the worst gaming laptop I have owned. I did not research the laptop (my fault) but read the specs and assumed it should atleast be decent for the type of gaming I do and school work. I based off this idea from my old gaming laptop which was a toshiba satellite . But as I bought the laptop I noticed that not even two weeks within having it, it was so slow on the startup and more recently it cant even handle league. Again im basing all my issues from my old gaming laptop because the specs on that were lower. If i remember correctly it had nvidia gtx 960 and intel i5 2.6 processor with 8 gbs of ram. When I play league I get random spikes of frame drop from 80fps to 40fps , I cant even play apex without it being at 30 fps constantly and surprising it cant even handle fortnite. The startup and overall performance of this laptop is horrible, it takes atleast 15 minutes for it to start up before I can even click on chrome without it freezing. I did do a diagnostics but nothing seems wrong, my drivers are updated, I only have one anti virus software which is AVG and it says my pc is fine. I am noticing that everyone who has an HP omen have the same issues as mine but I cant afford to buy a new gaming laptop since i barely had this for a year and im wondering should I just buy more ram? Anything about these issues that can help improve my pc performance is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Welcome to the HP Support Community @simonthecat3
Lets try this first.
First thing would be to do a Disk Cleanup.
Check everything except Delivery Optimization Files
Then do a Disk Defrag. “OPTIMIZE”
Then go to Advanced System Settings.
In the Performance box click on SETTINGS.
Click on Adjust for Best Performance.
Click on APPLY.
REBOOT:
Then you have one Advisory:
Advisory: OMEN by HP PCs - Performance Lag When Running OMEN Command Center:
