OMEN by HP - 15-ce019dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was hoping someone could help me identify, what are my max upgrades? And, recommendations regarding upgrading my OMEN by HP - 15-ce019dx. Currently I'm running 8 GB Ram and I'm curious how high I can upgrade and recommended parts. After that I was curious recommendations regarding SSD upgrades. I don't recall if I'm running 256 GB or 512 GB SSD. I saw some of the newer ones and I was interested in upgrading those. Finally, my graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. I'm curious about recommendations... Basically, nearly full new laptop possibly, but from what I can tell it's much cheaper and I might not do all upgrades.

Thanks!

Memory is DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM and it would accept up to a pair of 16 gig modules for 32 gigs. However, just adding an 8 gig module to have 16 total is much more cost-effective and will provide plenty of memory for just about anything you can do with the computer. Official specs on the computer say it came with a 1 TB 7200 rpm mechanical hard drive . It also has a slot for a PCIE/NVME M.2 SSD and you could install any capacity you can find. A 2 TB would work. Samsung 970 Evo or Evo Plus is still my recommendation. The video card is not upgradeable except by replacing the entire motherboard and the cost and difficulty of that is not worth incurring. If you want to upgrade for better gaming the extra memory and even an NVME SSD will not do much. Its all about the video card and you are pretty much stuck with that on a laptop as its just a chip soldered on the motherboard, not a "card" like a desktop.
