Hello,
suddenly my Omen laptop got its fn keys + esc key stop from working.
I've already checked any FN general key as of could be the num block for the num pad keys, but it seems to be an hardware physical problem.
It's strange because on the side of the F12 key there is the airplane mode key which is working, being the same size and distance from F12 as F11 is, but F11 is not working as it doesn't F12.
Due to that, it's legit to think that I may had activated a FN (of which I don't know any existance, unless a latest update added it to a shortcut). Anyway even if a FN key could exist and I deactivated it, this wouldn't explain why the esc key on the bottom left side of the keyboard, just beside F1 key, doesn't work aswell.
I think it's an hardware problem, but I didn't spill any water or other liquid on my keyboard, nor my laptop fell or endured any hurts (it's used to be played as a desktop pc even if it's a laptop).
The only different thing I did in the past few months is to have plugged a razer chroma keyboard, but I didn't change any driver and it works normally (all keys) when it's plugged, so I don't really now.
Sorry for the long post and my bad english, would be great for me to receive any (kind of) assistance.
Bests,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the keyboard FN keys are not working.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
What is the product number of your computer?
Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

@The_Fossette
thanks for your reply and suggestions. I tried to update the BIOS and the other few drivers that weren't up to date.
I've even reinstalled some of them with a clean install process.
I'm quite sure this is kind of an hardware issue.
Does the HP support forum provide any assistance for such problems? Even dyi tutorials could work 😅
Thanks again!
