hello 

i have the model hp omen 15-dh0xxx and i am curiys about something. i bought my laptop with an M2 ssd and i know that there is a place for a 2.5'' sata. I am just wondering if i can place a 2.5'' ssd or i am bound to have an hdd in that place (under the connector there is a description which says hdd) 

So is that place for a 2.5'' hdd only or can i put a 2.5'' ssd also?

Hi:

 

You can also install a 2.5" SATA III SSD, if all the parts are there to connect it to the motherboard.

 

It is not restricted to a mechanical hard drive.
