Hello Hp community , I am facing a coil whine type issue with my unit , A high pitch noise come along with the fan noise , I'm attaching a video of the same

 

Can someone from Hp confirm that its indeed an issue , the whistling noise irritate me a lot in night or in quiet room, I didn't have the same noise in my first unit , I m trying for replacement So i need confirmation

I reviewed your post and I understand that you hear a coil whine noise from the system fan.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I checked the video you have shared, and I am unable to notice any such noise. However, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Hello,Please watch again above video ,  use Headphones/Earphones  ... There's whistling noise with the fan noise , I'm attaching another video too ,,, These whistling noise very irritating in quiet places and These noises comes when fans run on idle/medium rpm and I'm on latest bios F.07

I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
