Omen 15-ax217nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

long-time HP laptop user here.

Considering the Omen 15-ax217nl for personal use.

Found no data sheet on HP website, but googling around it seems it has 2 slots for DDR4 RAM, already occupied by 8Gb blocks.

Considering it for a future expansion, how much RAM can be added changing both blocks? Can be they changed by me (i.e. there's an accessible slot), or should it be changed by HP assistance?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello @Lugg,

Your PC will support 16GB of RAM max.

You May use 16 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB)

See here : https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05421197

NOTE : This computer does not have user-replaceable parts. Only HP authorized service providers should perform the removal and replacement procedures described here. Accessing the internal part could damage the computer or void the warranty.

Thanks! But still i do not see it. I see the RAM slots and how they are filled with 8Gb cards each.
There's no mention on if they can be substituted with, for instance, two 16Gb cards in the future, or at least I can't see it.
Where should I look for?

Thanks again,

Sorry, now I saw it. It was in the note of your answer. Thanks again!
