Omen 15-dc0xxx with 1050 ti, is it compatible with hp omen accelerator? Or any other Egpu ?

Hi i bought this laptop to be used witht he HP Omen accelerator, because i was living on a budget, but now that i read it it says that it is compatible with the 1060 version of this laptop. would i be able to use it with my laptop which is the  Omen 15-dc0xxx 1050 ti core i7 8th gen? thank you so much.

You do not give the exact model of the notebook you have. 15-dc0xxx is the whole series.

Anyway, if you have a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 on the notebook, you can use the Omen Accelerator. If you do not, you can't. This is true for eGPU external housings.

Did you get the Accelerator working with your  OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx?

I recently purchased an Accelerator and am not getting any power.

Curious if yours works.
