Omen 16-n0033dx Win 11 same issue, now the second time in 17 months of ownership.

Warranty is expired and quoted HP repair cost is $541.86 USD. Motherboard was replaced almost exactly one year ago and the intermittent overheating and black screen problem has reoccurred.

Can someone tell me what is actually going on with this motherboard? What is the root cause in the AMD variant? I cannot justify a mobo replacement every 5-12 months on a high end laptop. I have seen statements of failing hall sensors and capacitors, but nothing specific to the AMD board.

Thanks

@Gaya1238 the AI BOT (AKA Gaya1239), your private message, telling me to call customer service is not helpful, or of any value.

Please do not reply to my post, unless you have some information that pertains to my post. It seems that you are falsely trying to appear to be helpful in this thread by responding, but you are not doing anything to help whatsoever.

All you have accomplished, is inflame an already unhappy customer, which seems to be how HP handles their own problems, by burdening the end user. DO NOT SEND PRIVATE MESSAGES. REPLY IN THIS FORUM FOR TRANSPARENCY!!!

NO AI CHATBOT RESPONSES!!!
