It could be a quality problem of the battery or a technical problem of the mainboard. It is not possible to return the notebook after 4 months. HP will be able to repair the notebook under warranty. Either motherboard or battery or both.

Its my fault that I didn’t sent it back in the first week. I thought after some cycles it will get better but it only gotten worse.

(1) Start Windows and check battery taskbar icon status until it's 100% charged

(2) Click battery task icon and set slider to center position

(3) Disconnect charger and use the notebook and check how long the battery will last

(4) Please report your results

Used on balanced settings. Did browsing and watched youtube.
The battery lasted 2hrs 15mins.

(2) Click battery task icon and set slider to left position ( energy saving )

(3) Disconnect charger and use the notebook and check how long the battery will last

(4) Please report your results
