So i'm a design student that uses this laptop for school. I dont play games on it.
I use SolidWorks for most of my work, but that isn't the problem.
When the laptop is on the charger (for the best performance and speed) the CPU will spike to 90-105 Celsius.
And this happends only when I interact with something. Just opening chrome, or connecting to wifi it will spike up for 1 sec and the fans wil turn on. Allright that cools, okay not that big of a problem right?
Well, when im using chrome and watching youtube for guidance for a task i need to compleet and there are some documents or other things running in the background. (not more than 5 or so and not that intensive either). It will go nuts and blast it fans on full because the CPU is like 100 clecius..
But when I go inside of the energy managment controle pannel. And i change that the CPU can only use 99% of the power being given to the laptop it will stay nice and cool around the 50-60 celcius. But even than, my performance drop is a lot and my laptop cant perform that well and makes it slow.
I also just updated all the drivers, bios update, all the software i needed to install from HP that i didnt had. And still the same issue. Please i would like to solve this problem.
Greetings,
Silas
