Hi all
I have purchased my Omen 17 4 months ago, and accidentally this problem was discovered after forgetting my wireless mouse so I start to use the touchpad and buttons.
So, I have discovered that lagging in touchpad and unresponsive right click.
Then, I have run hardware diagnostic tool and the result was fail in test of the right click.
After that i have contacted with live chat support and she told me that I have a hardware issue, but the problem that my laptop was purchased from USA and now I'm at Egypt so, it will be too difficult to return it back.
Then, I try to use hardware diagnostics UEFI through boot menu, and here was the surprise; that my right click is worked probably and their is no problem at all!!
So, can anyone tell me what can I do and where is the problem exactly because I don't think that is hardware one.
Thanks

Hello @Waleed_Ahmed
You can replace the touchpad ...
In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [Recommended] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- [Recommended] The function of the fan(s) must be checked
- Replace touchpad and cable
- General cleaning ...
If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
