I have an Omen 17 (13700hx/rtx4080) and in some games (like Warzone) after an hour it overheats and goes to sleep to protect the electronics. Why can't the processor regulate its clock and watt consumption to prevent this? the vents are clear, I've done stress tests, also run HP software to verify the proper functioning of the fans. Everything seems to be working properly, except for the CPU that is not able to regulate itself... Performance is not affected at any time!
I've had laptos gamers that constantly reach their maximum temperature and start to degrade their performance until they cool down, but they never turn off like this.

Hi Guarfo.
Everything you said is correct. Your gaming laptop has overheating problems. Since this is a brand new system you should take it straight away to an authorized HP service center for inspection and repair. At the very least it needs repasting......
