Hello friends I have Omen 17-DB0015NT A44QLEA device

8c75 motherboard

rtx4070 8gb 115w (base watt)+25w dynamic boost 2.0 gpu

r7 8845hs (45w) cpu

SAMSUNG MZVL81T0HELB 1tb ssd ssd

samsung m425R2GA3EB0-CWMOD (2x) ram

I have a device and I want to install a samsung 990pro 2tb ssd with the code MZ-V9P2T0BW in this device, but does the device have a 2nd m.2 slot and where can I install this ssd without breaking the warranty of the device and also can the 2 rams in my device be removed because I want to remove both of them and make 2x32gb

According to HP specs for your model series, your notebook comes with two M.2 slots with each supporting NVMe gen 4x4 SSDs. A 2 TB Samsung 990Pro SSD (without heatsink) should be fully supported.

As far as I can tell, the above article is only HP document for your model series, which doesn't say 64 GB (2x32 GB) is supported.

But Crucial indicates your model supports 2x32 GB DDR5-5600 memory.

AMD specs indicate your processor supports up to 256 GB. That's a lot!

The  Omen 17-DB0015NT can definitely be upgraded to 2x32GB DDR5 RAM. It has also been upgraded successfully to 2x48GB (96GB) DDR5. In fact, you can find this model  sold on Amazon already upgraded to this higher configuration.

The Crucial "CT2K32G56C46S5"  2x32GB kit is -according to Crucial- guaranteed to be compatible with your laptop, but the larger capacity 2x48GB kit has also been reported as fully compatible. As mentioned above by tk_srq in his excellent anaylysis of your system, it's possible that the 2x64GB kit....or even higher will be functional. This remains to be seen.
